Job summary

Visionworks in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an OD Coordinator to be the face of our exam practice and guide patients through eye exams and product recommendations.

The role supports OD Tech training and scheduling, handles patient records, and ensures a smooth transition from doctor to sales floor while delivering friendly, human service. This is a full-time position with a competitive pay range.

Qualifications

• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conduc(ing) preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and provide associates necessary information.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals.
• Count the Optometrist’s daily revenue and prepare for deposit.
• Prepare the Technician work schedules to meet patient/Doctor demand.
