Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Clinical Specialist/Optometric Assistant who will be the face of our Exam Practice, guiding patients through the first steps with a simple, human and bold approach. This role supports both patient care and in-store operations in a part-time capacity.

You will conduct preliminary testing, maintain records, and help transition patients from doctor to sales, educating on products and services while supporting the store’s overall patient experience goals.

Qualifications

• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate on products and services.
• Support the store's exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals including restocking, cleaning equipment, and answering phones.
