Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant to be the heart of our store, guiding patients through the first steps of the eye care journey with friendly, human, and bold service.

The role involves assisting with preliminary testing, introducing patients to OD, and helping educate customers about products and services while maintaining a welcoming in-store experience.

Qualifications

• Related customer or patient experience preferred.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducing preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate and recommend products and services.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals.
