Job summary

LensCrafters in Morrow, GA is looking for a Part-Time EyeCare Advisor who delivers the LensCrafters Experience by guiding customers through eyewear, tests, and services.

You will greet customers, answer phones, explain paperwork, and work with Optometrist staff to ensure high-quality patient care while maintaining store standards and HIPAA.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, strong customer service, good math, and comfort with POS systems; prior retail or optical experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of current fashion trends.

• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers without delay (within 30 seconds).
• Promptly answer the telephone (3 rings) in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Explain all required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Review prescriptions and patient information; consult with Optician/Management when needed.
• Show patience and courtesy to indecisive customers and patients.
• Perform work accurately and thoroughly under time pressure.
• Identify situations involving unsatisfied customers and resolve them quickly.
• Demonstrate knowledge of appointment scheduling and computer operations.
• Handle and file patient records per HIPAA.
• Place contact lens orders, process shipments and submit invoices.
• Operate the POS system with accuracy and handle payments.
• Explain one-hour processing and delivery times.
• Maintain store appearance according to guidelines.
• Keep the environment safe for associates and patients.
