LensCrafters in Hemet, CA is seeking a Licensed Assistant Manager to lead the shop in the Store Manager’s absence and drive store performance with a patient-centered approach.

The ideal candidate holds a state Opticianry license, demonstrates strong people leadership, and ensures daily operations, KPI delivery, and compliance with company policies while delivering exceptional eye care and service.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Current & valid state Opticianry license.
• 1+ year(s) management/supervisory experience with direct reports
• Knowledge of retail operations, processes & policies
• Strong basic math skills
• Familiarity with cash register, computers & calculators
• Must have a strong command of the English language for all written correspondence & oral communication
• Demonstrated high-level of selling skills
• Proven ability to problem solve

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in the absence of the Store Manager and drive KPIs.
• Support recruiting and staff development, ensuring talent pipeline.
• Maintain store appearance and execute visual directives.
• Adhere to company policies and ensure compliance.
• Provide training and constructive feedback to team members.
• Ensure accurate lens knowledge and patient eyewear fittings.
