Job summary

Plume Health is seeking a skilled facilitator to lead virtual support groups for trans, nonbinary, and gender-diverse communities. You will plan sessions, guide discussions, and ensure inclusive, safe spaces while leveraging monthly themes and templates.

The role is independently contracted, with time split among facilitation, prep, follow-up, and occasional training. Groups run on a regular cadence and are hosted virtually.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a facilitator or peer support specialist.
• 2+ years of experience supporting trans/nonbinary individuals in various roles.
• 1+ years' experience facilitating virtual groups, workshops, or learning sessions.
• Experience leading workshops on equity, inclusion, or social justice.
• Experience discussing sensitive trans/nonbinary topics in group settings.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate live virtual group sessions to support members around identity.
• Meet members' emotional needs with empathy and proactive engagement.
• Create session agendas using monthly themes and templates.
• Provide feedback to improve sessions and facilitator materials.
• Answer questions and support access to Plume services.
• Engage with participants to foster community beyond groups.
• Address group dynamics and apply conflict resolution skills.
• Occasionally cover for other facilitators; participate in events.
