Job summary

Jobgether SRL is partnering to hire a Support Group Facilitator in the United States. You will lead live virtual peer groups focused on identity, wellbeing, and gender journeys, using empathetic facilitation and structured agendas.

The role is independent contractor, remote, with opportunities to contribute to events and program evolution. Strong experience with trans/nonbinary communities and online groups is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as facilitator or peer support role.
• Experience supporting trans and nonbinary individuals.
• Experience facilitating virtual groups or workshops.
• Comfort with equity, inclusion, consent, and social justice topics.
• Experience discussing sensitive trans/nonbinary topics with professionalism.
• Strong empathy, communication, and boundary-setting skills.
• Ability to structure sessions around clear objectives and outcomes.
• Related professional background is a plus (mental health, counseling, social work).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate live virtual peer support groups to help members navigate identity and wellbeing.
• Create inclusive, psychologically supportive spaces and respond to participants’ needs.
• Develop structured agendas using monthly themes and templates; craft questions and activities.
• Balance organic discussion with focused facilitation and group objectives.
• Maintain professional boundaries and manage time; address conflicts and uphold group agreements.
• Explain available services and assist participants in accessing support.
• Engage with participants on the community platform to encourage ongoing connection.
• Provide feedback on session structure and facilitator training materials.
• Offer occasional facilitation coverage and participate in events or moderation as needed.
• Participate in preparation, follow-up, training, and consultation as an independent contractor.
