Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks a tax professional to assist customers with TurboTax tax preparation and inquiries in a virtual setting. You will guide clients through federal and state returns, provide expert explanations of tax terms, and ensure accurate, compliant results.

You’ll work with our video tools, leverage tax resources, and meet performance metrics while delivering clear, friendly support. Remote position with flexible hours and a focus on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent experience preparing federal and state individual 1040 tax returns for at least 30 clients per season using commercial tax preparation software.
• Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Must possess an active PTIN.
• Working knowledge of Circular 230.
• Willing to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Proficient with technology; solid knowledge of computer operations and software.
• Strong customer service skills in video and audio tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• This is a virtual, customer-facing role; you will use our video software to interact with customers.
• Assist TurboTax customers on tax returns, provide tax advice, and handle full service return preparation and signature.
• Create high quality customer interactions with empathy and expertise in tax preparation.
• Utilize government resources and team expertise to deliver accurate answers in everyday language.
• Document customer interactions and work toward KPI metrics and Big Bet Goals.
