Job summary

Virtual Preparatory Academy of Missouri @ Atlanta is seeking a Student Success Coach for its online program. The role supports onboarding, interventions, and student services, serving as the primary contact for new students and families and coordinating with teachers for academic planning and communication.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and experience in education or counseling, with strong communication and data skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, social services, or related field preferred.
• Prior experience as tutor, counselor, or mentor to youth.
• Proficiency with Google Docs, MS Office, email, and internet apps.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information and work under pressure.
• Experience with distributed workforce and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to pass state and federal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Support new and returning students and families through onboarding and required tasks.
• Maintain weekly open office hours/help sessions for new students and families.
• Make welcome calls in coordination with homeroom teacher.
• Follow up on non-completion items for new students.
• Collaborate with other departments and vendors for prompt resolution.
• Participate in Admissions Counseling for applicants and students.
• Review transcripts and assist with course selection.
