Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree and School Counselor License preferred.
• Master’s degree in school counseling preferred.
• Experience with distance learning and in a customer service environment.
• Familiarity with Local, State, and Federal laws and mandated reporting.
• Experience in a charter school environment preferred.
• Experience with state career planning systems, Pathfinder or similar tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, web searches, and database systems.

Aufgaben

• Plan for postsecondary options and college/career readiness for students.
• Review graduation plans and transcripts to ensure candidacy.
• Develop data-driven programs for intervention and supports.
• Provide short-term counseling and referrals for longer-term support.
• Travel up to 20% for professional development and student testing as required.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to align counseling with curriculum and policies.
