Health and Safety Council® seeks a detail‑oriented Live Online Proctor to supervise trainees in virtual labs along the Gulf Coast and nationwide. Responsibilities include checking in participants, monitoring sessions, and enforcing lab rules with professionalism.

The role requires strong customer service, clear communication, and the ability to work independently in a quiet environment, with occasional travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Ability to work in quiet environments and follow detailed procedures.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and make effective decisions.
• Cross-train and assist other departments as necessary.
• In Louisiana, proficiency in CSR areas (Proctoring, Check-in).

Responsibilities

• Check in trainees and verify identification prior to testing.
• Monitor trainees throughout the training event.
• Communicate lab rules and policies to trainees while proctoring.
• Explain course and exam processes.
• Assist with technical setup and navigation issues.
• Understand testing procedures and adhere to quality and security measures.
• Report irregularities or trainee behavior to management.
• Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor.
• Assist with covering lunches and breaks.
• Report course problems to the Supervisor of Live Online Proctoring.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
