Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead the Medical Management & Transition Team, overseeing virtual-based transitional care programs, with a focus on operations, quality, and staff performance. You will ensure patient-centered delivery and collaboration across disciplines.

The role requires 4 years in a clinical specialty, BSN (or in progress), state nursing licensure, and CPR/NRP certifications, plus supervisory experience. Mercy emphasizes benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing in the applicable state of practice.
• Four (4) years of experience in a clinical specialty or related area; includes supervision, teaching, performance improvement, and budget.
• Certifications: CPR NRP.
• To ensure patient safety, licensed coworkers who provide direct patient care must pass a medication and math competency test before administering medications.
• BS/MS preferred; supervisory/management experience preferred (2+ years).

Responsibilities

• Provide operational, clinical, and strategic leadership for Mercy’s virtual-based transitional care medical management and related programs.
• Ensure safe, effective, patient-centered care delivery; foster interdisciplinary collaboration; ensure timely follow-up and care coordination.
• Oversee daily operations, quality outcomes, staff performance, and regulatory compliance for services across the care continuum.
• Advance Mercy’s mission through population health strategies and high-quality virtual care management.
