The Group Facilitator provides therapeutic treatment, with an emphasis on evidence-based drug and alcohol treatment methods. You will do this through facilitating scheduled groups and documenting the sessions in our EMR. While in this position, you shall maintain all applicable licenses and certification requirements and at all times during the term of this Agreement, meet all requirements of the facility or other regulatory entity for such licensing, certification, or credentialing.
The role is for our Discovery Mood & Anxiety, mental health intensive outpatient program (IOP). It is 100% remote work. We run 4 IOP tracks: Adult AM 10-1pm, Adult Mid 2-5pm, Adult PM 5-8pm, and adolescent (11-17 years) afterschool 3-7pm. We see clients all over California via secure Zoom platform.
As a group facilitator, you will lead 3-4 psychoeducational groups per day based on our curriculum library. An essential aspect of virtual IOP is patient engagement and modifying the group to meet clients' needs. We create a safe space for patients struggling with mental health symptoms to learn new skills.
We offer learning development via pathways training of CBT, DBT, or ACT. After your first 90 days, you are eligible to complete a training which includes a pay increase upon completion.
