Job summary

Ucardia, Inc. is seeking a remote-friendly health coach for live video sessions and high-frequency asynchronous messaging with members. You’ll interpret wearable data to tailor coaching across movement, sleep, stress, and nutrition, while building scalable, personalized relationships.

The role requires NBC-HWC and CPT credentials, 1+ year virtual coaching, and comfort in fast-evolving startup settings. Evening/weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• NBC-HWC credential is required.
• CPT certification (ACE/NASM/ACSM) or equivalent.
• At least one year of virtual coaching experience with live video + async messaging.
• Caseload management skills and proactive engagement.
• Comfort interpreting HR, HRV, steps, sleep and device data.
• Evening/weekend availability; daytime blocks as needed.
• High empathy with structured accountability; startup familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead live one-on-one video coaching sessions blending behavior change with movement, sleep and nutrition guidance.
• Maintain proactive in-app messaging with timely nudges and clear action steps.
• Build personal, scalable member relationships using video, text and voice notes.
• Interpret wearable/biometric signals and translate into coaching insights.
• Co-create SMART plans and adapt in real time based on data and feedback.
• Demonstrate and correct form with modifications for injuries or time constraints.
• Escalate clinical concerns to clinicians per triage protocols.
• Share patterns with product/ops to improve messaging and flows.
• Document outcomes and contribute to dashboards and product direction.
