Job summary

Ucardia is seeking a remote, contract-based Health Coach to guide members through live video sessions and async messaging. You will interpret wearable data, adjust plans in real time, and maintain proactive outreach to sustain engagement and adherence.

Responsibilities include coaching via video and text, ensuring safety, and escalating to clinicians when needed, while collaborating with product and support teams to improve the coaching experience.

Qualifications

• Professional coaching credential: NBC-HWC (or exam-enrolled).
• Fitness or nutrition certification: CPT (ACE, NASM, ACSM) or equivalent.
• At least one year of virtual coaching experience with live video + async messaging.
• Skill in managing a caseload and maintaining proactive engagement.
• Comfort interpreting HR, HRV, steps, sleep, and other device data.
• Evening and weekend availability, plus select daytime blocks.
• High empathy paired with structured accountability.
• Comfort with fast-moving, evolving startup environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead one-on-one video coaching sessions blending behavior change guidance with movement, stress, sleep, and nutrition support.
• Maintain structured, proactive communication via in-app messaging with timely nudges.
• Build relationships and engage members through video, text, and voice notes at scale.
• Interpret wearable and biometric signals and translate them into coaching insights.
• Co-create fitness, nutrition, stress, and sleep plans based on SMART goals.
• Demonstrate movements on camera and offer modifications for injuries or time constraints.
• Identify red flags and route to clinicians through triage protocols.
• Share patterns with product/ops teams to refine flows and messaging.
• Keep concise notes and track key outcomes for dashboards.
