Johns Hopkins Care at Home is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide and supervise in-home nursing care across assigned Baltimore-area territories. The role emphasizes teaching, care coordination, and applying the nursing process to develop comprehensive patient plans.

You will advocate for patients and coordinate visits to meet priorities and ensure quality outcomes. The ideal candidate holds a BSN with active RN licensure, BLS CPR, and a valid Maryland driver’s license.

Qualifications

• BSN required and active RN licensure.
• BLS CPR certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Maryland driver’s license and auto insurance with a reliable vehicle.
• Minimum 2 years clinical nursing in Acute Care/ICU/ED; 2 years home care preferred.

Employs the nursing process to develop and implement plans of care for patients requiring in-home health and support services. In addition to specific and skilled treatments and procedures, the nurse provides health teaching to patients and care givers, preventive health screening, referral and coordination of services in the agency and the community, and advocacy for the patient in obtaining health-related goals. The Case Manager ensures adequate service provision, including scheduling of visits, based on patients identified needs and priorities for care. To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• BSN required
• Current RN licensure
• Active American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS CPR
• Valid Maryland drivers' license and current auto insurance, working vehicle;
• At least 2 years of clinical nursing practice required in Acute Care, ICU or ED
• 2 years of home care experience preferred
• Passion for educating patients in their home environment a MUST.
• Experience with electronic documentation (i.e. Epic).

Salary Range: Minimum 43.61/hour - Maximum 67.59/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
