Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking an Interventionist for Ohio Digital Learning School to support at-risk students through remediation aligned with MTSS.

This full-time, remote role requires strong collaboration with general education teachers and families, data-driven instruction, and a commitment to equity in a virtual learning environment. You will modify K12 curriculum to meet individual needs, oversee data collection, and coordinate Tier 3 interventions with district staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree AND one (1) year of classroom experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, presentation skills, and the ability to work without direct supervision
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); Web proficiency
• Flexible schedule with ability to travel up to 10% of the time for meetings
• Ability to pass required background check

Responsibilities

• Modifies and adapts the K12 curriculum in alignment with state standards to meet individual student needs
• Collaborates with general education teachers to meet goals via individualized and small group sessions
• Educates parents on instructional strategies
• Ensures MTSS instructional system is implemented to increase student achievement
• Oversees data collection and progress monitoring at every tier; uses data to plan instruction and guide teachers
• Collects and maintains MTSS data and intervention plans
• Serves as a daily resource to administrators and stakeholders regarding MTSS
• Coordinates Tier 3 interventions with Family Academic Support Liaisons and district personnel
• Provides training and support on MTSS and data collection procedures
• Supports teachers in documenting student progress
• Works with the special education team to facilitate eligibility for special education
