Job summary

Teladoc Health is seeking a General Medicine Practice Coordinator to support 24/7 telemedicine operations and report to the Practice Manager. You will coordinate physician schedules, reschedule patients, assist with referrals and prior authorizations, and help implement new product offerings while ensuring clinicians feel supported in a virtual care setting.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of healthcare experience or ambulatory medical office experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Customer service oriented and able to work with physicians.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates physician schedules and reschedules clinics to maximize patient flow in a virtual care setting.
• Aids in referral management and billing; handles prior authorizations as needed.
• Provides administrative support for CME, licensing, and other tasks for physicians.
• Responds to provider requests and escalates appropriately to ensure timely information.
• Supports onboarding by monitoring credentialing and training progress.
• Partners with credentialing to track license approvals, renewals and expirations.
• Provides feedback on training needs, physician performance, and process improvements.
• Assists leadership with staff meeting agendas, attendance, minutes, and follow-up.
• Participates in performance improvement projects and related duties.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
