Job summary

Teladoc Health, Inc. is seeking a General Medicine Practice Coordinator to provide administrative and project support for our 24/7 telemedicine practices.

You will coordinate physician schedules, handle patient rescheduling, referrals, and prior authorizations while supporting new product rollouts and ensuring physicians feel supported in virtual care. You will work with Provider Relations, Credentialing, Planning and Delivery, and the Clinical Operations Care Team to maintain smooth operations

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of healthcare experience required or direct ambulatory medical office experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to succeed.
• Customer service oriented.
• Previous experience directly supporting physicians.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Must be well-organized and a self-motivator.
• Works well with others and is a team player.
• Interacts effectively with staff, managers, and physicians.
• Must be able to generate reports and documents.

Responsibilities

• Monitors providers’ schedules to maximize efficient patient scheduling and flow in a virtual setting.
• Schedules/Reschedule Physician clinics as needed.
• Aids in referral management and billing processes.
• Acts as a resource for clinicians and Care Team staff.
• Obtains referrals and completes prior authorizations as instructed.
• Provides administrative and technical support for CME, reimbursement, licensing, and other tasks.
• Responds to provider requests promptly and escalates as needed.
• Supports onboarding by tracking credentialing and training progress with the credentialing team.
• Provides feedback to management on training needs and process improvements.
• Assists with staff meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up items.
• Participates in performance improvement projects and performs related duties.
