Job summary

Pomelo Care is seeking a dedicated birth and full-spectrum doula to join our nationwide network as a 1099 independent contractor. You will educate and support families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period, with a focus on empowering choices and improving outcomes.

You will maintain accurate visits documentation, adhere to privacy and quality standards, and collaborate with our telehealth-enabled team.

Qualifications

• Certifications and training as a birth and/or full-spectrum doula are required.
• Experience working as a doula with pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, and postpartum knowledge.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with diverse families (virtual and in-person).
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing tools, and electronic documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Educate and guide families throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
• Help improve birth outcomes by empowering families during this time.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation for visits and birth support.
• Follow documentation, privacy, quality, and compliance standards for Pomelo services.
