Job summary

Paychex is hiring a field-based Sales Consultant to engage America's businesses virtually, educating stakeholders on Paychex payroll, HR, benefits, and advisory services. You will manage accounts, generate opportunities in Salesforce, and guide decisions toward Paychex solutions.

The role emphasizes meeting revenue targets, performing product demos, and building trusted relationships with clients. Compensation includes base pay with commissions, plus broad rewards and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in relevant Sales/Marketing.

Responsibilities

• Achieve unit and revenue expectations.
• Create, manage, and advance accounts, leads, and opportunities in Salesforce and provide accurate sales activity and forecasts.
• Schedule and conduct meetings with new prospects via calls and targeted email campaigns.
• Leverage Go-to-Market strategy to identify customer needs and present Paychex solutions to key stakeholders.
• Develop sales skills and stay up-to-date with product initiatives and industry trends.
• Submit all paperwork for new sales within SLA guidelines.
• Address and escalate client concerns to Service Partners when needed.
• May travel to visit channel partners, attend trainings, and area meetings.
