Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment in Waddell, AZ is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Specialist to support the Player Development department under the Events Manager. You will handle the main desk duties during shifts, assist with VIP guest services, and help coordinate promotions, events, and player activities.

The role emphasizes maintaining accurate records, managing inventory systems, and communicating professionally in English while building a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Education and experience: Associates Degree plus two years administrative experience or equivalent.
• Inventory control systems experience preferred; gaming experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older. No felony, theft or stealing convictions.
• Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background check, obtain and maintain gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all administrative components of Player Development.
• Work at the main desk during shift, attend VIP guests with compliments.
• Assist with tracking systems updates and records retention.
• Coordinate promotions, events, and activities.
• Assist with activities for attraction and retention of VIP players.
• Coordinate Player Development activities (dinner/hotel reservations, VIP event attendance, concert requests).
• Maintain integrity and updates of current player accounts.
• Maintain communication with team and uphold a positive work environment.
• Develop internal and external communication channels and systems.
• Contribute to team efforts and perform related duties as required.
