UofL Health is seeking a Patient Access Representative III to serve as the first point of contact for VIP patients and providers in Louisville, scheduling appointments and handling urgent referrals with a concierge approach.

You will use Allscripts, Centricity, and paging systems to coordinate visits, ensure HIPAA compliance, and maintain patient trust while delivering exceptional service and accurate information.

• Excellent customer service and patient-centric communication.
• Strong scheduling and appointment coordination across multiple groups.
• Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Answer incoming calls with exceptional customer service.
• Schedule VIP appointments across multiple groups.
• Process website appointment requests with concierge approach.
• Schedule patient appointments using physicians' templates and guidelines.
• Monitor scheduling documents for compliance.
• Determine physicians for non-directed referrals.
• Reschedule patients as needed.
• Answer non-clinical questions or escalate as required.
• Set patient expectations for a positive visit.
• Call patients to reschedule when clinics are canceled.
• Use Allscripts, Centricity and online paging systems; retrieve data from hospital systems.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
• Meet productivity and quality targets.
• Follow company policies and standards of conduct.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
