TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician for 100% onsite work in Santa Ana, CA. The role emphasizes VIP client support, Windows 11 proficiency, and a strong service mindset.

You will handle desktop deployments, account setup, and end-user assistance for a high-security corporate environment. Qualified candidates have an Associate's degree in a technical field and 2–5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field
• 3+ years experience in desktop support and VIP environments
• Experience with Windows OS and desktop installation/ config

Responsibilities

• Assist in software/hardware life cycle management including research, packaging, QA, and deployment prep
• Set up new users, including desktop configuration, email, LDAP, VPN accounts
• Support employees locally and remotely with desktop issues and service access
• Troubleshoot software on desktops/laptops; some off-hours support may apply
