Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking a Venue Host III in Las Vegas to deliver exceptional guest service at property night clubs and entertainment venues while driving revenue through relationship-building and networking.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of customer service experience. The role requires varied shifts, including weekends/holidays, with comprehensive benefits and career development opportunities.

Ability to work weekends and holidays.
Knowledge of nightclub and entertainment functions preferred.

Responsibilities

Market entertainment and nightclub events to potential guests and distribute information to hotel departments.
Determine when to approve table comps based on performance and data.
Monitor reservations and ensure VIP table details are complete in the system.
Maintain knowledge of hours, menus, pricing, and venue availability; collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations to anticipate guest needs.
Set bi-weekly sales goals considering occupancy, events, and competition to drive revenue.
Work with venue hosts and management to implement practices that increase sales and revenue.
Represent venues positively on and off property; communicate workload and strategy through daily/weekly recaps.
Attend meetings and shifts; participate in team discussions to develop sales strategies and operations.
