Job summary

Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas seeks a proactive events administrator to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Special Events & Promotions Department, drafting memorandums, ordering supplies, stocking inventories, and ensuring timely execution of plans.

You will coordinate with internal departments and external partners, develop creative event strategies, and manage logistics from load-in to reporting while maintaining guest privacy.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in casino, marketing, communications or business-related roles.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently, handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays; 21+ years.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Special Events & Promotions Department.
• Draft memorandums, order supplies, stock, file, and maintain inventory.
• Coordinate event needs with internal departments and external partners.
• Develop overview and creative strategy for each assigned event.
• Utilize event checklists and adhere to timelines.
• Handle decor, A/V, signage, and reporting logistics.
• Ensure 1099 paperwork when required and protect confidentiality.
• Respond to guest inquiries and provide event information.
