Job summary

Universal Processing in Houston, TX is seeking a Client Support Specialist fluent in Vietnamese to join our onsite team. You will process client applications for credit card processing, translate between merchants and processors, and support the sales effort.

The role requires US work authorization, strong communication, error-free attention to detail, and proficiency with Excel and Word. We offer medical, vision, dental coverage, generous PTO, a 401(k), and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the US at the time of hire.
• Bilingual proficiency in Vietnamese is required; reading and writing.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, detail-oriented, and analytical abilities.
• Able to listen to clients and interact in a friendly and patient manner.
• Self-motivated to learn new systems and install products.
• Able to meet deadlines and be detail-oriented.
• Able to work well in a team and as an individual.
• Proficient with Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Process client applications for different credit card processing services and input data in the client management system.
• Listen and respond to customers’ concerns; identify requirements and provide solutions.
• Ensure changes are made to resolve clients’ problems.
• Keep records of client interactions, inquiries, complaints, or comments and actions taken.
• Contact clients to respond to inquiries or notify them of new regulations or planned adjustments.
• Serve as liaison between merchants and Priority Payment System or First Data to resolve funding or terminal issues.
• Provide technical assistance and support for terminal hardware related queries.
• Schedule work to ensure phone coverage, monitor call priority, and escalate as needed.
• Assist in planning and implementing department goals and suggest efficiency improvements.
