Job summary

TikTok USDS Joint Venture LLC is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability of TikTok's video system, including publishing and distribution, across production environments in the United States.

You will monitor, operate, and automate the infrastructure, respond to incidents, and support large events by scaling compute, storage, and network resources while collaborating with cross‑functional teams. This role requires strong problem solving and on‑call readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience in a technical field.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability of TikTok's video system, including publishing and distribution.
• Manage production lifecycle: changes, deployments, operations, and incident response.
• Monitor system health, respond to incidents, and uphold SLA requirements.
• Perform capacity planning for compute, storage, and network to maintain stability.
• Build tools and dashboards to improve observability and automation.
