Job summary

Google in Chicago, IL, USA is seeking a Video Lead on the Retail Specialist Team to drive video strategy and activation for growth across the Retail sector. You will uncover opportunities, develop go-to-market plays, and partner with sales to expand YouTube’s presence in awareness, performance, and shopping solutions.

As a leader, you will partner with executives and sellers, translating customer needs into powerful advertising solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or product roles.
Experience in YouTube video advertising.
Experience with TV or social planners/buyers, brand developers, and agencies.
Project management experience leading complex initiatives.
Expert knowledge of video solutions and the engaged landscape.
Ability to present to executives and communicate with sales teams.
Distinctive problem-solving and strong business judgment.
Passion for YouTube as a platform.

Responsibilities

Act as a trusted video advisor by developing agency and customer relationships to understand decisions and growth opportunities.
Partner with Industry Directors and sellers to provide revenue-driving support with knowledge and strategy.
Develop annual video strategy and secure stakeholder alignment to execute.
Influence cross-functional teams across sales and product based on business rationale and advertiser needs.
Represent product gaps and opportunities to accelerate business opportunities.
