Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. seeks a part-time Video Lab Assistant to manage the video lab during established hours and operate all equipment in control rooms and studios.

You will oversee student use, sign equipment in/out, and maintain all gear under the Video Lab Supervisor. Strong candidates will have video and audio production skills, be able to teach others, track equipment, and demonstrate reliable organization and integrity.

Qualifications

• Upper-level student at Liberty University with at least one prior semester.
• Proficient in video and audio production; able to teach and assist others in using video equipment.
• Ability to track equipment and fill out paperwork accurately.
• Excellent people and organization skills; honest, with integrity and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the video lab during established hours.
• Operate all equipment in control rooms and studios; oversee student use of equipment; sign equipment out and in.
• Maintain equipment and perform other duties as assigned by the Video Lab Supervisor.
