Job summary

Villanova University seeks a Technical Theatre Assistant for the Dept Studio at the Mullen Center. The student hourly role runs about 5–6 hours weekly with Tue/Thu morning sessions 9:30–11:30, plus an extra hour weekly.

Duties include setting up and breaking down camera gear, recording scenes, and distributing edited footage for student review. Ideal candidates are familiar with camera equipment, capable of recording and editing material, and able to support on-camera coursework.

Qualifications

• Familiar with camera equipment setup, breakdown, charging, maintaining and securing.
• Experience in recording, splicing and editing material.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up, breaking down, charging, maintaining and securing equipment for on-camera theatre course.
• Assist instructor in recording student scenes.
• Assist instructor in splicing, editing, and distributing recorded scenes for student review.
