Job summary

Heritage Auctions in Dallas, TX, is seeking a detail-oriented team member to assist the Consignment Director of Video Games with processing incoming consignments, labeling, and creating electronic inventories.

You will communicate with clients, research consignments, write basic catalog descriptions for auction lots, and support the department with inventories and responsive service. A high school diploma and interest in collectibles are required; some customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school degree or equivalent.
• Genuine interest in vintage and modern video games and the history of the industry.
• Experience in customer service or related field.
• Interest in collectibles.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming consignments accurately and efficiently, including: Opening packages; Labeling and verifying contents of packages; Creating an electronic inventory for the consign ment.
• Communicate with clients in all aspects of the consignment.
• Research the status of consignments.
• Return client material when requested.
• Perform department-wide inventories of consignment material.
• Answer client inquiries.
• Assemble client information packets.
• Write basic catalog descriptions for video game auction lots.
