Job summary

Heritage Auctions is seeking a detail-oriented individual to assist the Consignment Director of Video Games in processing incoming consignments and related tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school degree, a genuine interest in vintage and modern video games, and experience in customer service or related fields. You will communicate with clients, compile inventories, and write basic catalog descriptions for auction lots.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school degree or equivalent.
• Candidate must have a genuine interest in vintage and modern video games and the history of the industry.
• Experience in customer service or related field.
• Interest in collectibles.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming consignments accurately and efficiently, including: Opening packages; Labeling and verifying contents of packages; Creating an electronic inventory for the consignment.
• Communicate with clients in all aspects of the consignment.
• Research the status of consignments.
• Return client material when requested.
• Perform department-wide inventories of consignment material.
• Answer client inquiries.
• Assemble client information packets.
• Write basic catalog descriptions for video game auction lots.
• Other duties may be assigned.
