Job summary

Heritage Auctions in Dallas seeks an authentication and evaluation specialist for Trading Card Games to build a new auction category. The role involves soliciting consignments, cultivating client relationships, responding to HA and independent leads, and contributing to catalog production and sales processes.

You will travel to meet clients, review property for potential consignments, and help expand the client database while maintaining meticulous accuracy and industry standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in commercial dealing or major auction house environment with focus on Trading Card Games preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Authenticate and evaluate property for auction and establish estimates.
• Acquire consignments through HA and leads.
• Research and catalog property with accuracy.
• Proof catalog text and ads, and manage bidding communications.
• Market auctions and lots to clients; expand client database.
• Travel as needed to meet clients and review property for consignments.
