Job summary

Heritage Auctions, based in Dallas, TX, seeks a specialist to authenticate and evaluate Trading Card Games for auction. You will solicit consignments, cultivate client relationships, and participate in cataloging, sales processes, and auction activities to build a new TCG department.

The role requires deep knowledge of Trading Card Games, strong communication, and willingness to travel for consignments and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in cataloging and researching collectibles or cards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Authenticate and evaluate property for auction and establish auction estimates.
• Acquire consignments through Heritage Auctions and leads.
• Research and catalog property with meticulous accuracy.
• Proof catalog text, images, and advertising copy.
• Market auctions and specific lots to clients.
• Travel as needed to meet with clients and review property for consignments.
• Support previews and trade shows and actively participate in auctions.
• Develop long-term win-win relationships with bidders and consignors.
