Job summary

Orion Consortium, LLC seeks an IT support technician to install, operate, maintain and repair end-user devices at customer sites. Must hold TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope polygraph.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, software configuration, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Requires 4+ years of experience or an Associate’s degree with 2+ years; DoD 8570 IAT Level 1 certification is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum education and experience: High school/GED with 4+ years experience or Associate’s degree with 2+ years experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level 1 Certification required.
• Familiar with end-user devices and basic network concepts.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, maintain, repair and modify end user devices (PCs, thin-clients, phones, monitors, printers, radios).
• Perform maintenance and support on devices, subsystems, and install software at customer/field locations.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues; ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Installing, operating, maintaining, repairing and modifying end user devices such as personal computers, thin-clients, network interface cards, phones, monitors, printers, telephones, printers, pagers, and radios.

Performing a variety of maintenance and technical support on devices, integrated systems and subsystems, and install/configure software at customer and/or field locations.

Troubleshooting and solving technical issues related to end user equipment hardware and software

Ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved.

Requirements

Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Minimum education and experience level: High school/GED and a minimum of four (4) years of experience. Equivalent education and experience: Associate’s degree and two (2) years of experience. DoD 8570 IAT Level 1 Certification required.

• Highly skilled in installing, repairing and troubleshooting VTC devices and systems
• Demonstrated ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics
• Able to manage time and priorities effectively
• Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Proficient in working with end-users remotely
• Familiar with Active Directory security and policies
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
