Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a UC Engineer to support video conferencing, Telehealth, and Digital Media services across Advocate Health locations. Responsibilities include designing, deploying, and maintaining UC infrastructure and collaborating with vendors.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in CS, 3+ years in video communications, travel, and strong communication skills. It offers full-time, 40 hours per week, with potential extended hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of video communications experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to travel to Advocate Health locations.
• Experience with UC technologies (Cisco/Polycom).

Responsibilities

• Travel to and support all Advocate Health locations.
• Handle tickets across multiple applications within SLA; engage senior engineers as needed.
• Deliver end-user training to improve adoption and proficiency.
• Collaborate with teams to plan and execute technology solutions with minimal supervision.
• Define scope and gather requirements with business partners.
• Design architectural BOMs and provide budget estimates.
• Lead and supervise implementation of video conferencing, Telehealth, and Digital Media tech.
• Configure dial plans and service maintenance for UC infrastructures; operate AV systems.
• Maintain databases and directories for video conference services.
• Keep up with emerging technologies and present to stakeholders.
