Job summary

Experimental Aircraft Association Inc. is seeking a part-time Video Editor/Archivist intern to support marketing, publications, website distribution, social media releases, and event coverage including AirVenture.

You will file and archive video assets, enter metadata, and may be trained to edit assignments as requested while working with a creative team in a safety-conscious aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of video editing software, including Adobe Premiere.
• Basic or advanced video camera operation.
• Background in audio and microphone operations.
• Ability to be trained on a high-quality archive system with metadata entry.
• Ability to work well with a creative team.
• Enrolled in undergraduate or graduate program prior and/or upcoming semester.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Videography duties for marketing, publications, and events such as AirVenture; website and social media uses.
• File and archive video assets with proper databases and enter metadata for retrieval.
• Able to be trained to edit assignments as requested within the EAA Video Editor category.
• Support the EAA mission and maintain safe practices in aviation environments.
• All other duties as assigned.
