Job summary

Client Engagement Academy in New York is looking for a passionate Video Intern to assist in multimedia production. Candidates should possess strong video editing skills, creativity, and communication abilities. The role offers hands-on experience with our Marketing and Development teams and mentorship from seasoned professionals.

The position requires a current student in Cinematography or Film/Video Production with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Responsibilities include capturing high-quality video content and collaborating with creative teams. A stipend for travel and lunch will be provided.

Job Description

Do you have a passion for photography and video production? Do you understand how to capture moments and tell compelling stories that engage a digital audience?

You will have a chance to practice multimedia skills as well as learn how to apply them in a business setting. As a video intern, you will assist the photographer/videographer who captures, edits, and produces photos and videos for both internal and external purposes.

Responsibilities

• Capture studio-quality video both on location and in the office as projects dictate.
• Shoot and edit content to build a library of product videos and/or case study videos.
• Assist with all technical setup for shoots, including lighting, angle, placement and type of microphone, and positioning of individuals on camera (if appropriate).
• Collaborate regularly with creative teammates, marketing teammates, and senior management.
• Develop an intimate understanding of our brand message and tone to accurately capture in video and photo form.
• Edit, catalog, and organize past photos.
• Assist in creating digital content for Facebook, Instagram feed and Instastories.
• Additional duties as assigned.

• Currently enrolled in a four‑year academic institution, preferably as a junior or senior majoring in Cinematography and Film/Video Production. Graduate students are also considered.
• 3.0 GPA or higher.
