Experimental Aircraft Association Inc seeks an Event Coordinator to assist in planning, delivering, and supporting a variety of EAA programs and hosted events in Oshkosh and beyond.

Responsibilities include setup, supply management, theme ideas, venue research, and ensuring compliance with policies while coordinating with caterers and volunteers. The role requires flexibility for evenings and weekends and a strong focus on customer service.

Competenze

• High school diploma and 3–5 years of customer service/administrative experience.
• Currently enrolled or enrolling in a program related to Event Management.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work independently under deadlines with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Mansioni

• Assist in setup and takedown for events, including assembling centerpieces.
• Order supplies, manage inventory on arrival, and deliver to locations.
• Suggest themes, speakers, and venues; research potential meeting sites.
• Ensure venue setups meet standards and expectations.
• Assist with vendor deliveries and pickups; maintain beverage service areas.
• Monitor activities for policy and regulatory compliance; handle issues and after-hours work as needed.
• Distribute evaluations, collect data, and prepare reports to improve future events.
• Plan and execute small events; coordinate with caterers for event details.
• Support AirVenture’s Volunteer Kitchen and Operation Thirst programs.
• Embrace EAA mission and uphold safe practices in aviation environments.
• All other duties as assigned.
