Job summary

The Carson City District Attorney's Office is seeking a full-time, non-exempt staff member to assist victims and witnesses, monitor case status, and manage restitution processes within the Nevada criminal justice system.

Under supervision, the role includes data entry, processing payments, and coordinating travel and lodging arrangements, with responsibilities expanding to office support as needed.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to two years of college level course work in criminal justice, sociology, psychology or a related field.
• Two years of full-time experience in a legal or court support function.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience as determined by Human Resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide information to victims and witnesses in criminal cases.
• Monitor cases through the judicial system and verify/process claims for payments.
• Make travel, lodging and property return arrangements for involved parties.
• Perform data entry and general office support for the program.
