Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada seeks a Staff Attorney to provide compassionate, trauma-informed advocacy for survivors of violent crime in civil matters and rights enforcement.

The role involves direct representation, outreach, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team at the Resiliency & Justice Center, with strong emphasis on training and professional development in trauma-informed advocacy and victims' rights law.

Competenze

• Licensed and in good standing in any US jurisdiction or eligible for Nevada licensure.
• Experience in trauma-informed civil litigation and survivors' rights.
• Strong interpersonal skills, cultural humility, and ability to work with clients who have experienced trauma.

Mansioni

• Provide direct legal representation to survivors in civil matters.
• Assist with rights enforcement under Marcy's Law, protective orders, and related civil issues.
• Participate in outreach to connect survivors with legal assistance and educate the community about victims' rights and remedies.
