Job Summary:
Reporting to the campus president, the Vice President of StudentAffairs (VPSA) is responsible for creating, leading, andcoordinating a One College system of programs, services, andexperiences designed to support student access, recruitment,retention, success, and completion for their designated campus. TheVPSA oversees their designated campus and works collaboratively toprovide strategic oversight for all Student Affairs experiencesthrough program reviews, implementations, and changerecommendations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Performance Requirements*
- Serves as a member of the student affairs team for the College;advises the Campus President on student success matters
- Works collaboratively with relevant members of the college'sleadership to foster and sustain a culture of student success
- Participates in leadership team meetings on assignedcampuses
- Works collaboratively with the Campus President to establish andmanage enrollment strategies for the College, to build and retainenrollment to fulfill College goals
- Develops effective strategies to improve the student learningenvironment while identifying key performance indicators forstudent success
- Ensures the Office of Student Affairs provides programs, servicesand experiences, and organizational design that deliver positivestudent access and outcomes
- Collaborates with the District Director of Student Affairs toensure effective delivery of campus services, programs, andexperiences
- Strategically uses data to comprehensively assess the overallperformance of all services and programs that impact studentlearning and success
- Strategically reviews and evaluates data to assess enrollmenttrends and key student success performance indicators
- Participates in the College's strategic planning process andprovides leadership for the implementation of the College'sstrategic planning goals in the student affairs and academicsupport areas
- Serves on work teams and committees as necessary
- Collaborates regularly with academic affairs colleagues and otherCollege stakeholders
General Supervision and Management
- Supervises and evaluates the work of their direct and indirectreports
- Leads the budget planning process for the Student AffairsDivision; ensures appropriate staffing and budget plans to ensureexcellence and consistency of service across the College
- Develops recommendations for a college student affairsorganizational structure, which embeds continuous qualityimprovement and leads the development of student learning outcomesfor each program and service
Service Excellence
- Participates on behalf of the College in external communityorganizations and associations as assigned to support the essentialperformance requirements
- Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, andfollows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of theworksite
- Completes all required training and professional developmentsessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
- Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of theCollege
Supervision
- Works under the general supervision of the Campus President

Required Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree
- Five (5) years of administrative experience in Student Servicesor Student Development within an academic environment
- Three (3) years of experience supervising (e.g., managing,evaluating the performance of others)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Earned doctorate (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in Higher EducationAdministration, Student Affairs, Educational Leadership, or aclosely related field
- At least three (3) years of progressive senior-level leadershipexperience as a Director, Dean, Associate Vice President, orclosely related role with direct oversight of multiple studentservice functional areas, such as Advising, Counseling, VeteransServices, and Student Life
- At least three (3) years’ working experience leveraging dataanalytics to design and execute Strategic Enrollment Management(SEM) strategies to improve student recruitment, persistence,and/or completion outcomes
- At least three (3) years’ working experience within a large,multi-campus community college district related to the EssentialPerformance Requirements
- At least one (1) year's work experience in online highereducation setting, outside of Covid-19

- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
- Ability to think critically to effectively solve and communicateproblems in a fast-paced environment where the demands for work arevaried, and unpredictable in scope and volume
- Ability to analyze data and provide sound recommendations basedon policy, procedure, practice, and existing regulations
- Ability to delegate work appropriately to faculty and staff tomeet College and campus deliverables
- Ability to use computer applications and enterprise systems,including proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, andpresentation software
- Skilled in excellent customer service and interpersonal skillswith varied populations
