Job summary

Macquarie Capital in New York seeks a Vice President to join the Software & Services team. You will lead complex advisory assignments, conduct financial analyses, build models and craft client pitches for software and services companies.

You will coordinate with senior bankers, manage due diligence, and help execute transactions from origination to close. The role offers exposure to global markets and a collaborative culture at Macquarie.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field and 3 years of relevant investment banking experience
• 1 year performing detailed commercial and financial analysis and valuation modeling, including cash flow projections and relative valuation metrics
• 1 year managing live transaction execution, including buyer diligence and contract review
• 1 year preparing client-facing presentations and reports for corporate executives and private equity professionals
• 1 year preparing sell-side marketing materials for M&A deals outlining investment opportunities, company highlights, and financial profiles.

Responsibilities

• Provide principal investment and advisory services to software and services companies regarding acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, and capital raising activities.
• Conduct commercial and financial analyses and modelling; design and lead production of presentations and information memoranda.
• Assist with due diligence and liaise with clients and third-party advisors; work with senior team to generate and execute transactions.
