Macquarie Capital is seeking a Senior Vice President (Director) to lead client coverage and manage complex M&A and strategic advisory transactions for the infrastructure and energy sector. You will originate opportunities, drive negotiations, and oversee execution from origination to closing, while mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• 9+ years' of experience in investment banking, mergers and acquisitions advisory, project finance, corporate development, private equity, or related transaction-focused roles
• Expertise within midstream infrastructure, energy, or a closely related sector
• Proven experience originating, leading, and executing complex mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, or strategic advisory transactions
• Strong relationships with corporate clients, financial sponsors, and other industry participants, combined with excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Experience leading transaction teams and developing Vice Presidents, Associates, and Analysts while promoting a collaborative, team-oriented culture

Responsibilities

• Lead client coverage across corporate and financial sponsor clients using industry expertise to identify opportunities
• Oversee execution of mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and other strategic advisory transactions from origination through closing
• Guide valuation analyses, due diligence, transaction structuring, negotiations, and client materials
• Shape industry insights to support client engagement and business development
• Mentor and develop junior team members while fostering a collaborative culture
