Lifepoint Health is seeking an executive to lead enterprise recruitment and contracting for physicians, APPs, and providers under professional services agreements. You will align workforce planning with growth, patient access, and care delivery, while scaling recruitment and onboarding across multiple markets.
You will supervise geographically dispersed teams, set governance standards, and collaborate with legal, finance, and operations to ensure compliant, competitive contracting and onboarding
Develop and execute enterprise recruitment and contracting strategies for employed physicians, advanced practice professionals, and providers with professional services agreements
Align provider workforce planning with enterprise growth, patient access, succession, and care delivery priorities
Develop scalable recruiting and contracting models, workforce planning methodologies, and market-level recruitment objectives
Provide executive leadership for physician and APP recruitment teams responsible for sourcing, candidate engagement, site visits, selection, offer development, and hiring
Implement sourcing, branding, marketing, and outreach strategies to improve candidate generation, pipeline diversity, and recruitment effectiveness
Partner with Graduate Medical Education programs, professional associations, academic institutions, and external organizations to establish provider pipelines and candidate experience standards
Lead provider contracting processes, including offers, term sheets, contract reviews, approvals, execution, renewals, and amendments
Establish contracting governance frameworks, standardized workflows, approval and escalation pathways, and documentation standards
Partner with finance, legal, physician compensation, and operational leaders on contract development and negotiations
Ensure provider contracting complies with fair market value, commercial reasonableness, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and other applicable requirements
Define provider onboarding ownership, handoffs, timelines, and escalation pathways with operations, credentialing, payer enrollment, IT, People Services, and market leadership
Establish onboarding standards from recruitment through clinical integration, initial productivity, and provider satisfaction
Monitor onboarding performance and improve start dates, integration, engagement, and time-to-productivity
Support provider retention initiatives, workforce stability strategies, and proactive engagement programs
Use workforce analytics, exit data, engagement results, and other indicators to identify turnover risks and implement interventions
Establish KPIs, reporting structures, service level expectations, and accountability mechanisms for recruitment, contracting, onboarding, and retention
Use data and analytics to improve process efficiency, workforce optimization, and operational performance
Develop enterprise dashboards covering workforce demand, recruitment pipelines, contract status, onboarding readiness, retention, and operational barriers
Lead, develop, and retain geographically dispersed provider recruitment and contracting teams
Build partnerships with executive, operational, clinical, finance, legal, compliance, compensation, and People Services stakeholders
Demonstrates expertise in developing and executing enterprise recruitment and contracting strategies for healthcare providers, with a strong focus on workforce planning, compliance, and performance improvement. Proven ability to lead geographically dispersed teams and partner with various stakeholders to enhance recruitment effectiveness and provider satisfaction.
