Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks an experienced physician recruitment specialist to coordinate and execute complex recruitment strategies across the system. You will source physicians, assess fit, and present opportunities aligned with organizational goals, while managing relationships with leadership and sites.

You will lead projects, optimize processes, and educate stakeholders on recruitment best practices, market conditions, compensation, and immigration needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Typically requires 5 years of experience in physician recruitment or executive recruitment.
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in developing and implementing complex recruiting strategies and successfully sourcing targeted candidates.
  • Proficiency in web advertising, mining websites, email blasts, social media, journal ads, direct mail, telemarketing, networking, referral programs, phone interviews, conference attendance, and search firms.
  • In-depth knowledge of state and federal employment laws impacting recruitment, human resources, and the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Experience building relationships and consulting with physicians and leadership.
  • Excellent negotiation, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Knowledge and utilization of web-based recruiting

  • Screen candidates and assess background and training for compatibility and fit.
  • Present organizational principles, culture, and career opportunities to candidates.
  • Lead special recruitment projects, initiatives, and work teams.
  • Drive recruitment process improvements.
  • Build long-term candidate relationships and maintain candidate pipelines using the CRM tool.
  • Educate, consult, and collaborate with physician and administrative leadership on recruitment processes, market availability, compensation, benefits, immigration needs, and employment law.
  • Collaborate with local administration to develop and maintain practice descriptions.
  • Orient newly hired recruiters

  • Educate, inform, and sell opportunities based on candidate needs
  • Lead special recruitment projects, initiatives, and work teams
  • Drive recruitment process improvements
  • Communicate with site partners about recruitment progress and ensure timely feedback
  • Build long-term candidate relationships and maintain candidate pipelines using the CRM tool
  • Educate, consult, and collaborate with physician and administrative leadership on recruitment processes, market availability, compensation, benefits, immigration needs, and employment law
  • Collaborate with local administration to develop and maintain practice descriptions
  • Guide and coach department staff on recruitment plans, sourcing, challenging issues, and candidate-response analysis
  • Orient newly hired recruiters
Requirements
