Job summary

Brookfield Properties, LLC seeks a Vice President of Operations to lead the operational and financial performance of a multi-region multifamily portfolio. You will own aggregate P&L, drive occupancy, revenue growth, NOI, and resident retention while guiding Regional Directors and coordinating with asset management on strategic initiatives.

You will establish operating standards, champion systems adoption, manage compliance with housing regulations, and oversee capital planning and vendor

Qualifications

• 10+ years in multifamily operations with portfolio-level P&L.
• Experience leading regional Directors/General Managers.
• Budgeting, NOI management, and capital planning across portfolios.
• LIHTC/HUD/Section 8 affordable housing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns P&L targets and monitors portfolio performance.
• Leads Regional Directors and develops leadership bench.
• Partners with asset management for business plans and dispositions.
• Establishes operating playbooks and improves processes.
• Ensures compliance with Fair Housing and regulations.
• Oversees capital budgets and major contract approvals.
• Drives talent planning and leadership development.
