Compensation: Primarily Equity-Based + Performance Bonuses + Modest Base Salary

We are seeking a high-performing VP of Sales to join one of Healthpoint Ventures’ portfolio companies. This role is a rare opportunity to be part of the founding executive team at a VC-backed startup focused on transforming provider credentialing through AI-powered solutions for health systems.

Please note: This role offers primarily equity compensation, supplemented with performance-based bonuses and a modest base salary. The position also includes a 45-day discovery period, during which the selected candidate will collaborate with the founding team to validate go-to-market strategy and product-market fit.

What You'll Do

  • Own and drive the sales strategy for our credentialing platform targeting health systems and hospitals.
  • Build and manage a high-velocity pipeline of prospective customers from lead generation to close.
  • Develop deep relationships with C-level executives in healthcare organizations.
  • Inform pricing, packaging, and messaging strategies based on market feedback.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product and operations to shape go-to-market execution.
  • Establish KPIs and reporting cadence for sales metrics and performance benchmarks.
  • Scale a repeatable sales playbook and support fundraising efforts with proof of traction.

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience selling SaaS solutions to health systems or large healthcare enterprises.
  • Proven ability to close 6- and 7-figure deals in long-cycle, consultative sales environments.
  • Deep understanding of the provider credentialing, compliance, or workforce management space is a strong plus.
  • Exceptional communicator, comfortable pitching to executive stakeholders and procurement teams.
  • Highly entrepreneurial, data-driven, and motivated by building from the ground up.
