We are seeking an exceptional Vice President of Sales to drive high-value consulting deals and expand our footprint in Pharma, Biotech, Medtech, and the broader Healthcare and Life Sciences market. This is a unique opportunity to own and execute Infocion’s strategic growth in one of the most rapidly evolving industries, leveraging AI-driven innovation, cloud solutions, and data transformation.
MUST HAVE:
- Minimum 12 years of VP-level sales experience in major consulting firms (e.g., Accenture, Cognizant, Deloitte, PwC), senior executive roles at hyperscalers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), or top-tier Pharma/Life Sciences organizations (e.g., Pfizer, Novartis, Amgen, IQVIA, J&J), with proven ownership of business growth, client engagement, and delivery of complex Data & AI and digital transformation initiatives.
- Proven track record of closing multi-million-dollar consulting engagements in AI, data analytics, Cloud, and digital transformation.
- Deep understanding of the industry pain points that can be addressed through Data Engineering & Artificial Intelligence, along with active relationships with key decision-makers across the Healthcare and Life Sciences market.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial & Market Growth:
- Lead go-to-market efforts, client acquisition, and large-scale deal origination/closure.
- Leverage personal network to secure foundational deals and revenue in the first 90–180 days.
- Establish Infocion’s differentiated market position within its specialized segments.
- Close high-value engagements in areas such as data engineering, AI-powered solutions, and transformation consulting.
- Drive strategic partnerships with hyperscalers and life sciences industry alliances.
Client & Industry Engagement:
- Serve as the primary relationship builder with C-suite leaders in key client domains.
- Align Infocion’s offerings with industry pain points: AI-enabled discovery, clinical trial acceleration, real-world data, regulatory modernization, commercial analytics, and related areas.
- Stay ahead of trends in generative AI, cloud data platforms, and LLM-driven innovation.
Client Engagement & Relationship Building:
- Cultivate, expand, and leverage relationships with C-suite and VP-level executives in R&D, Clinical Operations, IT, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, and Data Science.
- Align Infocion’s AI and data-driven solutions with industry challenges such as:
- AI-powered drug discovery and biomarker identification.
- Clinical trial innovation (e.g., decentralized trials, patient recruitment).
- Regulatory compliance (FDA, EMA, GxP, HIPAA).
- Market access and commercialization strategies.
- Real-world evidence (RWE) and personalized medicine initiatives.
- Work closely with Infocion’s delivery teams and industry experts to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
- Leverage cross-industry opportunities within Life Sciences, Pharma, Biopharma, and Biotech, ensuring maximum market penetration and revenue growth.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 12 years of VP-level experience in enterprise sales, with a proven track record of closing large consulting services deals in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Pharma, Medtech, or Biotech.
- Deep understanding of industry challenges and regulatory environments in areas like drug discovery, clinical trials, commercialization, healthcare delivery, and similar areas - with emphasis on AI and data innovation.
- Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth (multi-million dollar deals) and market expansion in consulting services, especially across Data & AI, cloud solutions, and digital transformation in the Life Sciences and Healthcare market.
- Demonstrated P&L responsibility and a proven ability to lead and grow similar Consulting offerings.
- Strategic thinker with a strong bias for action and a proven ability to execute.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and executive relationship-building skills.
Compensation:
- Before we move to the revenue stage of $500,000, you’ll earn a 15% commission on all generated and received revenue. Once $500,000 target is hit you’ll receive a retroactive retainer fee from day one and transition to a competitive base salary plus a tiered commission model—unlocking even greater earning potential. Top performers can earn up to $800,000 annually in total compensation.
